funny to see him wearing a leash in that picture.

I only wear those things on sad occasions - funerals, weddings and job interviews.

It is tribute to Bob's guitar teacher (Jerry) that he developed into such a unique player, so different form Garcia . A old-timer I knew said he saw the Warlocks . He said at one point a frustrated Garcia got behind Weir, and physically moved hind hand on the freeboard, "Here not there" . Bob at this age always looked like some teenaged runaway,who got taken in by a bunch of thugs (which is sorta what happened ...).
